- April 14 - Battle of Gallorum Forum - Antonio, chasing the murderer of Caesar Decimus Brutus in Mutina, defeat the forces of the consul Pansa, who lost his life, but he is immediately defeated by the army of the other consul, Hirtius.
- April 21 - Battle of Mutina - Antonio was defeated again by Hirtius, who dies. Although Antonio fails to capture Mutina, Decimus Brutus was murdered shortly thereafter.

- 36 BC - Battle of Naulochus - Octavian's fleet under the command of Marcus Agrippa Vipsanius, defeat the forces of rebel Sextus Pompeius.
